Insight Global is looking to assemble a specialized “hit squad” of 5 Naval Inventory Specialists for a short-term assignment (approximately 7 weeks). This fast-paced project ensures accurate inventory control for ships and shore-based facilities, directly impacting operational readiness and compliance with DoD supply chain audit requirements.

Responsibilitie

s : Inventory Control & Manageme

ntPerform comprehensive tracking and control of supplies afloat and ashor

e.Conduct wall-to-wall inventories of shipboard materials, including repair parts, consumables, and mission-critical supplie

s.Validate quantities against electronic records in Navy logistics systems (e.g., ShipCLIP, R-Supply

).Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective action

s.Documentation & Reporti

ngMaintain accurate records of receipts, stowage, and issuance of all store

s.Prepare inventory reconciliation reports for submission to the Supply Officer or Logistics Departmen

t.Compliance & Quality Contr

olAdhere to Navy supply chain policies and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirement

s.Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inventory reviews to meet audit standard

Must-Have Qualificatio

ns : 4–6 years of experience in DoD inventory control / manageme

nt.Familiarity with Navy inventory systems such as ShipCLIP, R-Supply, or similar platfor
