Responsibilitie
s : Inventory Control & Manageme
ntPerform comprehensive tracking and control of supplies afloat and ashore.Conduct wall-to-wall inventories of shipboard materials, including repair parts, consumables, and mission-critical supplies.Validate quantities against electronic records in Navy logistics systems (e.g., ShipCLIP, R-Supply).Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.Documentation & Reporti
ngMaintain accurate records of receipts, stowage, and issuance of all stores.Prepare inventory reconciliation reports for submission to the Supply Officer or Logistics Department.Compliance & Quality Contr
olAdhere to Navy supply chain policies and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements.Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inventory reviews to meet audit standards.
Must-Have Qualificatio
ns : 4–6 years of experience in DoD inventory control / management.Familiarity with Navy inventory systems such as ShipCLIP, R-Supply, or similar platforms.Security clearance / CAC not required but helpful for onboarding.
