Location : University of Oklahoma Medical Center
Shift : Full-Time (36 hours / week) Nights (7p-7a)
The Adult Surgical Transplant Unit is a 32-bed unit at OU Health. We treat a wide variety of patients with varying levels of acuity, both in med / surg and step-down status. We specialize in pre- and post-operative care for transplant patients-specifically liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant candidates. Surgical Transplant offers the opportunity to participate in high complexity patient care (both pre- and post-operative transplant care) and gives the ability for caregivers to see the entire organ transplant process.

Under general supervision of a registered nurse, performs routine tasks in patient care.

Minimum Qualifications :
Education & Experience : Six (6) months experience in a healthcare setting OR completion of a health related vocational education course OR completion of the first semester of clinical education in an associate or bachelor's degree program from a health care discipline.
License(s) / Certification(s) / Registration(s) Required : Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
