Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department.

The facility has 337 licensed beds and is a chest pain center and stroke center.

It does not hold a trauma designation and is not a teaching hospital.

The average census is approximately 145 patients per day.

Patient types include general ED population, trauma stabilization, respiratory illnesses, strokes, behavioral health, acute myocardial infarctions, and uncontrollable diabetes.

The nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1 : 3-4 based on acuity.

The department offers support personnel, including unit secretaries, paramedics, charge nurses, and dedicated pharmacists.

Technology used includes an EMR system, IV pumps, medication dispensing systems, and monitors.

Nurses may be required to float to other facilities within the region as needed.
