Equipment Operator
Performs work involving the use of large equipment such as the skid-loader, trenchers and backhoe for construction projects and loading material for general course maintenance. Operates tractors, fairway and rough mowers and aerifiers, boom sprayers and spreaders for fertilizing fairways and roughs.
Essential Duties :
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands :
Regularly stands, walks and sits. Regularly uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks or hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls; tastes or smells. Occasionally will have to lift more than 100 pounds.
Environment / Noise :
Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) as well in areas with moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in extreme cold or heat (non-weather); risk of electrical shock and vibration. Occasionally may work in high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.

Valid Driver's License
