Who are we looking for?

Reporting to our Head of Product, Engineering, and Design, we seek a technical Engineering Lead to lead our Integrations Engineering team of 8 Engineers. This team scales Pinwheel's core payroll connectivity products (Deposit Switch, Income & Employment Verification, Taxes) and brings new products (Bill Navigator) to market. You will code daily and play a key role in setting team direction and priorities. You will lead, coach, and grow your team to deliver value while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.

What will you do?

• Write code daily to support and expand Pinwheel's connectivity products, including PreMatch and partnerships with payroll providers
• Lead, coach, and enable a high-performing engineering team
• Collaborate with Product to shape the roadmap
• Prioritize work to maximize impact
• Build a strong team through coaching, hiring, and career development
• Be accountable for team results
• Enhance our engineering culture
• Identify staffing needs and recruit top engineering talent

Benefits include :

Total compensation combines salary, equity, and benefits. The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000 base.
