MRI Technologist

Position Summary :

The MRI Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services to assist in patient care. Performs MRI procedures and related techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Minimum Qualifications :

Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program

ARRT certified

MRI Technologist certification

Essential Job Functions :

Perform MRI exams and procedures as requested by medical staff

Assist radiologists and other healthcare providers during exams

Complete documentation accurately for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams

Manage exam jackets, written orders, and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting

Participate in maintaining and improving hospital quality indicators in alignment with the strategic plan

Perform ancillary duties related to distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures
