River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation – Evansville, IN

River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse Director of Nursing (DON / DNS) to lead clinical operations at our 80-bed skilled nursing facility in Evansville, Indiana.

Rate : Salary is +$95K; Commensurate with years of management experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversees nursing staff by effectively scheduling, assigning duties, and monitoring performance.

Fosters a positive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Acts as a key resource for patients and the healthcare team, addressing questions and concerns promptly.

Ensures timely communication of significant changes in resident conditions to physicians and families.

Qualifications :

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.

Minimum of one year of nurse leadership experience in a long-term care setting (ADON or DON experience required).

Solid knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations.

Experience working with geriatric populations preferred.
