PepsiCo Frito-Lay Supply Chain Productivity, Sustainability & Food Safety team is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Engineer (L8) to manage Productivity / Sustainability / Food Safety projects. The job description is as follows

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering solutions to bring additional capacity to Frito-Lay's portfolio of products. This can include the installation of new manufacturing lines and / or the modification of existing production equipment, including process, packaging, warehouse, facilities & utilities.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional teams of colleagues and outside resources, including plant personnel, equipment vendors, engineering and construction contractors.
• Define manufacturing and unit operation needs for project scope requirements and documentation
• Ability to independently lead small, medium and large projects
• Apply Engineering principles to problem solving and managing unexpected changes
• Manage costs by developing project budgets, maintaining cost tracking tools and actively controlling project costs to deliver project cost requirements. Create project funding documents.
• Demonstrate time management skills by developing project timelines, maintaining time management tools in multiple formats and actively controlling project schedules, ensuring project schedule attainment.
• Manage procurement including analyzing quotes, writing procurement documents and tracking project procurement information. This also includes developing and leveraging technical specifications and writing inspection acceptance test plans.
• Develop, manage and execute equipment installation and start-up plans while supervising outside contractors and vendors.
• Manage multiple project deliverables, accelerated timelines and competing priorities
