About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : Compact License or single state license accepted

Certifications : ACLS, BLS required; CCRN preferred

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience
• Experience with patient ratio management
• Charting experience in Epic
• Neuro and cardiac experience
• Ability to manage high acuity patients

Description :

Position available for a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse.

The role involves working in a float pool covering various critical care units.

Shifts will be variable, including both day and night, based on hospital needs.

Patient ratios range from 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.

Weekends are required as part of the schedule.

Travelers must be available to accommodate rotating shifts.

Experience with ICP monitoring and external ventricular drains is highly preferred.

Travelers may float to an acute care unit if there are no ICU needs.

Interdisciplinary support is available for patient care including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Candidates should be prepared to assess for neuro changes, especially in cardiac ICU settings.

Candidates must commit to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

RTO restrictions apply, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of employment.

Compliance with background policies is required prior to employment.

References will be required upon hiring.
