Join Our Team as an Emergency Medicine Physician!

Are you an ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine physician looking for an exciting opportunity? We invite you to consider joining us for 12-hour locum shifts at a critical access hospital in Dickinson, North Dakota . This role not only offers competitive compensation but also the chance to make a real impact in a supportive environment.

Shift Availability

  • May 6-10 (nights), May 11 (day), May 12-14 (nights), May 26 (day)
  • June 1-2 (days / nights), June 3-5 (nights), June 9-16 (days), June 23 (nights)
  • Ongoing coverage expected (no gaps allowed)

    • Facility Highlights

  • Experience the best of both worlds at a critical access hospital with the feel of a larger institution.
  • Work with a team of 2 MDs per day during 12-hour shifts, with APP support from 10 AM to 10 PM.
  • Utilize Meditech EMR for streamlined patient care.
  • Perform a full scope of emergency procedures, including intubations, central lines, chest tubes, OB deliveries, adult / peds resuscitation, and procedural sedation.

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • $240 / hour for 12-hour shifts.
  • Comprehensive coverage for malpractice, flights, hotel, rental car, or mileage.
  • Preferred lodging arrangements provided.
  • Please note : No first-class flights or upgrades.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only)
  • Active North Dakota license or IMLC (LOQ in hand preferred)
  • Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (required)
  • 250+ EM case logs in the past 12 months
  • Comfortable with all procedures and treating patients of all ages

    • This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced emergency physicians looking to provide meaningful coverage in a well-resourced rural ED. While we welcome travel candidates, local applicants will be prioritized.
