Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | 12 Hours Shift

Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for full time and part time Certified Nursing Assistants in our Reflections unit. With set schedule of 12 hour shifts .  Days and Night shifts available . C.N.A.'s will perform duties that assist the professional nurses in providing care to residents according to their individualized care plan and facility policies and procedures. With emphasis on a restorative philosophy, C.N.A.'s perform duties that assist the resident with their activities of daily living and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities :

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating / feeding, bed mobility / positioning, continence care / toileting, behavioral support, ambulation / wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Accountable for completion of C.N.A. documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's.
• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.
• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.
