Must-Have :

Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine.

Description : Ratios : 1 to 1.

EMR system in use : Cerner Surginet.

Report to the Clinical Supervisor.

Also have an OR Director and OR Manager.

OR Techs are present.

Weekend requirements are covered by call.

Holidays are covered by call.

On-call schedule : 1 to 2 weeknights per week.

Weekend call approximately once per month from end of shift Friday to 6 : 30 AM Monday.

Scrubs are provided.

Telemetry : Phillips.

Vents are available.

Hospitalists or Intensivists are not in-house.

IV Team is not available.

Respiratory Therapy is available 24 / 7.

Pharmacy is available 24 / 7.

Shifts include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts.

Mids start at 9 AM or 10 : 45 AM.

No floating available.

Floor-specific orientation is one shift with a preceptor.

Common diagnoses and types of patients :

All types of cases except transplant.

Common procedures include CVOR (CABG, valve, pacers, lead extractions, lung cases).

Main OR covers ortho, general / vascular, neuro / spine, ENT, and trauma.

Cancellation policy : The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks.

Charting system : Cerner.

Trauma Level : 2.

Care setting : Acute.
