Pastry Cook
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary :
Prepare items required for workstation according to par sheets or instructions from the Chef team, primarily the Pastry Chef. Prepare all assigned products in the workstation during your shift. Prep special food items as assigned by the Pastry Chef or Chef Team. This is a non-exempt, full-time, hourly position with a Tuesday – Friday pm schedule and one weekend day shift.
Compensation : $21.00 per hour
Essential Job Functions :
Preferred Education and / or Experience :
Minimum of one year of experience cooking in a professional kitchen environment; Texas Food Handlers’ Safety Certificate.

This position requires standing, walking, kneeling / squatting, bending / stooping, pushing / pulling, holding / carrying, twisting / turning, reaching, climbing stairs / ladders, and the ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds regularly. Must be able to stand and work in a hot, humid, and sometimes loud environment for long periods of time. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
