About Us :

Children's Hospital Colorado Springs is a premier, full-service pediatric hospital serving Southern Colorado and neighboring states. We provide a wide range of subspecialties to meet the needs of our patients.

As part of our Respiratory Therapy team, you'll provide exceptional care in various pediatric settings, including :

• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) : Care for critically ill newborns, including premature babies and surgical patients. Participate in hands-on care with NICU staff and assist with the transport of neonatal patients.
• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) : Provide care for children with complex medical conditions, including multi-organ failure, trauma, pulmonary conditions, and neurosurgical cases. Strong problem-solving and clinical skills are essential.
• Pediatric Emergency Department : Support the care and education of children with asthma, bronchiolitis, and other respiratory conditions in this trauma destination for the region.
• Pediatric Med / Surg : Assist in long-term patient care and recovery for children with chronic and acute conditions.

You'll also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and more to provide the best possible care. Additionally, you'll have the chance to assist with bronchoscopies in the operating room.

Hours : 36 hours / week

Shift : Nights (Three 12 hour night shifts per week).

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range : $31.55 to $47.32

Minimum Qualifications

Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
