Job Title : Industrial Waste Cleaning Services Manager
Summary / Objective
The Industrial Waste Cleaning Services Manager is a results-oriented leader responsible for the profitable and compliant operation of the business unit. The manager will lead and develop a team of four salespeople and three operations personnel, overseeing day-to-day operations, strategic business growth, and strict adherence to all industry compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong track record of both financial performance and team leadership in an industrial service environment.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
1. Profitability and Financial Management
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the business unit achieves and exceeds profitability goals.
- Manage and control the branch budget, forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities related to labor, equipment, and materials.
- Analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and operational data to drive efficiency and optimize profit margins.
- Manage job costing and make necessary adjustments to meet or exceed budgeted margins.
2. Personnel Management and Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four sales professionals and three operations personnel, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven culture.Conduct performance evaluations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and address employee issues promptly and fairly.Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees, ensuring the team is fully staffed and well-trained.Ensure a high level of employee morale and a "can-do" attitude across both sales and operations teams.3. Business Growth and Development
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for acquiring new accounts and expanding services with existing clients.Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.Oversee the preparation of estimates and procedures for new projects, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and profitability.Actively seek opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional services to existing customers.
