About this Opportunity :
This position Is responsible for providing engineering and project management support for production operations; implements technical improvement to manufacturing equipment, processes and methods, which support the production of existing products and the introduction of new products including, but not limited to Comm design, fabrication, startup and Technical Support for automation sales and associated equipment establishes short range plans and objectives within scope of organization wide policies and common goals.
Responsibilities :
Develops new product and processes specifications and test methods using solid Electrical Engineering standards.Develops prototype, pilot lines and production equipment design and specifications.Conduct test / debugging on new design and automated equipment / processes.Assist in creation of design and conducts research as necessary.Document new procedures, drawing sets and associated work instructions necessary for training.Provide technical support to Production / Manufacturing to ensure uninterrupted operations and process improvements.Develop software relative to automation design and processes used in robots, vision systems, PLCs and associated motion control components.Develop and design pneumatic and hydraulic systems integrated into automation cells and / or processes.Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment by following 6S standards.Properly follow all H&M procedures and policies.Use correct P.P.E. per JHAs and job description; Required to wear safety shoes with standard F2412 and F2413 rating. Individuals trained in NFPA 70 Arch Flash are required to wear electrical hazards safety shoes with F2412EH and F2413EH ratings.Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including the Idea System.Perform all other duties as assigned.Requirements :
Bachelor's degree B.S; or 1+ years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondents, and procedural manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.Ability to apply advanced mathematical conception such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations; Ability to apply mathematical operations to such task as frequency distribution determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlations techniques, sampling theories, and factor analysis.Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
