Overview
Electrical Engineer role at ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions. Location : St. Charles, MO. On-site (Monday–Friday). Term : 6+ month contract to direct hire. Compensation : $39–$53 / hour or $80k–$110k salary upon conversion.
Responsibilities
- Develop test applications to run on the company's test equipment. Test applications include adaptor cables and software scripts for a variety of DOD aircraft (helicopters, fighters, large transports, unmanned aircraft).
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and other professionals to ensure products meet high standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
- Perform circuit analysis and troubleshooting to ensure test applications meet performance and safety standards.
- Identify and solve technical challenges with other engineers.
- Stay up to date with trends and technologies in the avionics industry.
- Write technical reports and documentation to support the development process.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.3+ years of experience in the product development cycle (concept, component selection, design, product debug, qualification test, documentation, transfer to manufacturing).Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.Ability to read and understand test requirements and electrical schematics.Experience with at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, VBScript, C++, VB.NET).Experience with automatic cable test equipment (e.g., DITMCO, CK).Cable Test technologies experience is a plus.Proficiency in data manipulation using Microsoft Excel.Experience in cable design for avionics and familiarity with aircraft connectors is a plus.Understanding of configuration management concepts.Must be a US citizen.Ability to travel domestically about 40% of the time.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
