Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience is required from any number of months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Additional Details : Every other weekend

50% of holidays on contract

50% of weekends on contract required

The adult overflow unit services alI UH admitting physician teams. examples : Neurology, internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics and Oncology.

Diagnoses range from diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal disease, orthopedic fractures, and neurological deficits.

This unit will occupy adult 16 and older medical surgical patients to assist with hospital throughput.

General floor care procedures and skills such as IV therapy, labs, nasogastric tubes, wound care assisting physicians with bedside procedures and conscious sedation.

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved- No exceptions

Return Travelers : If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.
