We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS / MLS) or Clinical Lab Technician (CLT / MLT) to join our team in Garden City, NY . Job Responsibilities :

Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and blood banking.

Analyze and interpret test results, providing accurate information to healthcare providers.

Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Prepare and process specimens for testing, ensuring proper handling and documentation.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.

Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Participate in quality assurance activities, focusing on lab performance improvement.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and treatment decisions.

Qualifications :

For CLS / MLS : Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) required.

For CLT / MLT : Certification as a Clinical Lab Technician (CLT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) required.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.

Valid state licensure, where applicable.

Previous laboratory experience is preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates.

Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and safety standards.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with healthcare teams.
