Seeking full-time Maintenance Engineer for our Fort Stockton, Texas Location.
- All shifts available
- Monday-Friday w / rotational weekends
- On-call availability for emergency service preferred
Cormint Data Systems is seeking qualified maintenance engineers in the Fort Stockton, Texas area to support a unique data center hosting environment. The responsibilities of this role include production machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Applicants should possess a love for technology and a wide range of mechanical and electrical skills. General electrical and mechanical knowledge are a requirement of this position.
Responsibilities :
Performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairProviding emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine serviceInstall, maintain, inspect and troubleshoot the repair of standard plumbing systemsPreparing and setting up machinery for scheduled production runsComplying with OSHA Safety and Health rulesPerforming other mechanical and electrical duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsTwo or more years of related experience in plant maintenanceAbility to operate shop equipment including welder, drill press, lathe, mill, press brake, shear, and band sawsPreferred Qualifications :
Two or more years experience with electrical and mechanical production-line maintenanceGeneral Physical Requirements for Data Center Operations :
Ability to walk extensive distances and negotiate uneven terrain when necessaryAbility to work in noisy environments with variable temperaturesAbility to operate hand tools and equipmentAbility to reach and stretch to position equipment and fixturesAbility to manipulate small wires and switchersAbility to apply muscular force to equipment and fixturesAbility to push or pull heavy objects into positionAbility to manually lift up to 50 poundsNOTE : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
