The Boeing Company is actively recruiting for a contract part-time Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer to join the team in Hill AFB, UT or Layton, UT.
Boeing Defense and Space Systems is growing in aircraft, missile, weapons and autonomous system Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) system design, development, integration and test. Flight Engineering is looking for a motivated and talented engineer to join the Boeing team in this exciting business area for the Minuteman III Sustainment program.
Position Responsibilities :
- Gather system level requirements for Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) and sustainment requirements definition
- Perform and document analysis of GN&C systems, simulations, models & tools
- Support reviews, analyses, simulations and component / system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations
- Support testing and troubleshooting of sustainment related products / service anomalies and incidents
- Participate in Minuteman III Guidance efforts to ensure End of Life (EOL) can be sustained or surpassed
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is requiredBachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience and coursework in Control Systems or Guidance, Navigation and Control System designPreferred Skills :
