Willing and able to travel extensively, often on short notice (up to 85%). Ability to board offshore vessels and complete offshore survival training such as HUET. U.S. Person status with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances for defense-related projects. Physically capable of working in offshore and shipyard environments, adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Prior experience with customer service and technical leadership in marine environments. Familiarity with USACE safety and environmental standards (EM 385-1-1). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical documentation software. Background in shipyard or construction settings

Lead Field Service Engineer – Dynamic Positioning Systems Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Field Service Engineer with expertise in automation and dynamic positioning systems to support our marine clients across North America. This pivotal role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex systems onboard ships and at shipyard facilities. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and the flexibility to operate independently in challenging environments, ensuring our clients’ systems run smoothly and safely.
Lead Field Service Engineer – Dynamic Positioning Systems Responsibilities
- Lead the installation and commissioning of automation and dynamic positioning (DP) systems at shipyards and on vessels during new construction projects.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site, at sea, or during port visits, providing remote support as needed.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including procedures for commissioning, maintenance, and training.
- Deliver technical training and support to customer teams to ensure proper system operation and maintenance.
- Serve as a technical project lead to ensure high-quality execution and customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for additional services and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on upgrade projects and prepare comprehensive service reports.
- Work onboard vessels or in shipyards, adhering to strict safety protocols, with domestic and international travel (up to 85%) required.
- Support emergency and peak operational needs, including extended hours and overtime when necessary.
