What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Perform access control duties at the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractorsMonitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activityFollow site-specific policies and procedures, while providing customer service to all individuals at the locationRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting and documenting events as requiredConduct regular and random patrols around the premises and surrounding perimeter, observing for any security-related concerns or hazardsSupport emergency response activities by following established protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client siteCommunicate security-related information promptly to appropriate personnel and / or authorities as outlined in post ordersWhat We're Looking For :
Availability across various days and shiftsReliability and ability to adapt to different post assignmentsA desire to gain broad experience and grow within the companyInterest in transitioning into full-time roles when availableMinimum Requirements :
At least 6 months of security-related experience is requiredA Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is requiredCPR certification is preferredA current guard card or security-related license is preferredExperience with access control and / or badge systems is preferredBe at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalentAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local lawsAllied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable lawsAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by lawLicensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentA valid driver's license will be required for driving positions onlyWhy Join Us :
