Home Infusion Clearance Specialist

A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist - Intake Coordinator to support its Specialty Infusion Pharmacy remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and documenting insurance coverage

Calculate estimated patient financial responsibilities and secure prior authorizations

Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding the status of referrals and coverage updates

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and / or medical intake / reimbursement experience preferred

Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word; knowledge of CPR+ preferred
