Type : Full Time

Wage : $14 - $17 / hour

Description

  • Sell Deseret Book products and services in a retail store environment
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Oversee retail store operations such as cashiering, gift wrapping, merchandise presentation, shipping / receiving, store recovery, etc
  • Supervise, train, and motivate store associates
  • Give assignments and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Perform store opening and closing assignments

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Deseret Book products, policies, and procedures preferred
  • Ability to coach and lead store associates
  • Ability to see problems and work proactively to correct them
  • Self-motivated with good team skills
  • Computer and cashiering skills helpful
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings and Saturdays.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates
  • Ability to locate and identify product for customers
  • Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 20 lbs
