The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in respiratory therapy and demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, airway management, and critical care. This role is essential in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency situations. Duties Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians. Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate respiratory function and vital signs. Operate and manage ventilators, ensuring optimal settings for patient needs. Provide airway management for patients in critical care, emergency medicine, and during surgical procedures. Collaborate with medical teams in the NICU and ICU. Educate patients and families on respiratory health, medication administration, and home care techniques. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies. Stay updated on advancements in respiratory therapy practices and medical terminology. Requirements 2 years of acute care hospital experience. BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS NRP MT License Required EKG experience. 50 Mile rule radius from facility.
