Qualifications :

• MUST BE FLUENT / BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH
• Minimum 2 years of experience in criminal law (defense or prosecution)
• Previous experience in Central Texas Counties courts, including Travis County, Hays County, and Williamson County, etc. is a plus
• Any additional experience with Spanish-speaking clients is highly favorable
• JD degree and admission to the State Bar of Texas is required
• Strong oral advocacy skills with a preference for prior litigation experience
• Ability to work independently and in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage your own docket with limited supervision
• Ability to work well with people of diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds
• Valid driver’s license - travel to jails and detention centers within Central Texas will be necessary on a regular basis

Employer may assist with relocation costs.

Additional Salary Information : Job includes performance bonuses, jail release fees, paid time off, health insurance, and employer matching 401(k) program.
