We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Property Manager to join the team at our successful property management company. This person will work closely with the property manager in learning all aspects of property management; including administrative duties. Phone skills are a must. This job requires many tasks, including assisting tenants with move-in and move-out of properties, utilizing our management software and bouncing to various tasks as needed by the staff. An eye to detail is required as you do inspections of locations to be sure these properties are up to our high standards.
Responsibilities
Assists in managing all aspects of property occupancy and maintenance.Communicates with tenants regarding property-related issues.Coordinates with tenants and third parties to address maintenance and needs.Investigates and helps to resolve complaints, disturbances, and violations.Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.Schedule MLWTs and annual walk-through inspections.Complies with anti-discrimination laws with regard to housing, renting, and advertising.Assist in processing RBP packages and follow-ups with tenants about the benefits.Process applications for move insUtility ManagementQualifications
Proven working experience in property managementHigh school diploma / GED required, Bachelors degree preferredProperty Management or Real Estate License preferredDeep understanding of real estate law and leasing practicesUp-to-date on the local real estate marketExcellent communication, negotiation, and sales skillsExperience with property management software preferred
