We are seeking a reliable and motivated Electrician's Helper / General Laborer to support our lead electrician on various residential and commercial projects in the Ann Arbor area. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who is eager to learn and willing to perform a variety of essential tasks to ensure our projects run smoothly and efficiently. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist Electrician : Support the lead electrician with tasks such as pulling wire, mounting fixtures, installing conduit, and preparing materials.

Material Handling : Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment from suppliers to various job sites.

Site Logistics & Cleanup : Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by clearing debris, sweeping floors, and properly disposing of materials.

Truck & Tool Organization : Keep the company vehicle stocked, organized, and clean. Ensure all tools and equipment are accounted for and in good working order.

General Tasks : Perform other duties as assigned, including digging trenches, moving heavy objects, and running errands.

Qualifications :

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to our shop / initial job site.

A clean driving record is required for operating the company vehicle.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong work ethic with a punctual and dependable attendance record.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Prior construction or trade experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Working Conditions :

Work is performed at various indoor and outdoor job sites, with exposure to different weather conditions.

The role requires standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
