Job Description

Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Radiation Therapist skilled in managing high patient volumes and operating advanced treatment technology. You will provide essential radiation therapy services for approximately 64-68 patients daily, working independently across two state-of-the-art linear accelerators within a cancer treatment center.

Key Qualifications and Experience :

Valid Radiation Therapy certification from ARRT and IEMA
Illinois state license must be current and ready upon application
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a mid-to-large hospital or cancer center setting
Expertise with Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE linear accelerators
Familiarity with ARIA record and verify system, with experience or willingness to work on version 18.1 updates
Strong independent working skills and excellent multitasking ability

Responsibilities :

Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients following prescribed protocols

Operate and maintain two linear accelerators with precision and care

Document treatments accurately using ARIA software

Adapt working hours Monday through Friday between 7 : 00 am and 5 : 30 pm to meet patient needs and clinic volume fluctuations

Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure patient safety and treatment effectiveness
