What you will do :

  • Develops time standards and works on various cost reduction projects.
  • Coordinates the launch of new products from design to manufacturing.
  • Provides assistance to the Manufacturing employees with pilot builds, fixturing needs analysis, and fixturing design.
  • Provides training to Assemblers, Operators, Technicians and Programmers.
  • Manage and oversite of the Facilities and Maintenance team.
  • Oversees the environmental program.
  • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of facilities Maintenance and cleaning while determining schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.
  • Management and oversight of the Quality Team in conjunction with evolving the framework of policies, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent quality, defined quality objectives, documented processes, staff training, continuous monitoring, and audits to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Must have in depth-knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Requires the ability to present information, train employees and develop process, procedural and work instruction documentation in a correct, clear, concise and consistent way.
  • Must be able to use wide variety of metrology instruments and equipment
  • Possesses understanding and ability to develop manufacturing time standards
  • Ability to optimize and balance manufacturing operations to improve throughput
  • Experience with designing jigs, fixtures, tooling and gauges for improving throughput, quality and ergonomics preferably using CAD.
  • Must be able to read and understand written materials to follow equipment, production and safety procedures and requirements
  • Requires working math skills, including algebra, trigonometry and statistics preferably using statistical package such as Minitab.
  • Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and produce results in conjunction with other team members
  • Qualifications Required Are :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering in industrial or manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5 years experience and in-depth knowledge of discrete manufacturing operations process preferably in finishing and coating parts.
