About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Profession : Imaging

Specialty : General Imaging

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 8hr Day Shift

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required

License : CNMT or ARRT-Nuclear

Certifications : BLS, CNMT (through NMTCB) or ARRT-Nuclear

Must-Have :

Experience with cardiac patients

Experience performing stress tests

Ability to start IVs

Experience administering radiopharmaceuticals through IVs

EPIC experience

Description :

This position requires the ability to care for adult patients exclusively.

Travelers will primarily care for cardiac patients and perform stress tests.

The patient ratios vary.

Support on the unit will include collaborating with other nuclear medicine techs and stress lab RNs.

The electronic medical record system utilized is EPIC, which is required for this role.

Experience with GE camera systems is a plus.

Knowledge of McKesson PACS is also advantageous.

There will be no floating to other areas.

The weekend rotation will consist of every other Saturday from 0400 to 1200.

On-call duties will be required for Sunday mornings, only when scheduled to work the prior Saturday.

There are no holiday expectations.

Approval of time off will be done by the unit manager.

Scrub colors may be any color except for camouflage, and closed-toe shoes must be worn.
