Job Overview
Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as an Overnight Security officer. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents and staff during overnight hours. You'll be responsible for facility security, resident safety, and emergency response while supporting our rehabilitation program's mission.
Pay Rate : $13.00 / hr.
Status : Part-time 25 hours
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations
- Maintain overall security inside and outside the facility
- Conduct regular rounds throughout common and dorm areas
- Monitor facility grounds and perimeters
- Maintain active presence and visibility
- Work collaboratively with Resident Manager
Safety & Emergency Response
Observe and report unusual behaviors or potential conflictsCommunicate emergency situations promptly to supervisorsCoordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when neededDocument incidents, injuries, and maintenance issuesRespond appropriately to various situationsFacility Maintenance
Maintain front desk area cleanlinessPerform basic cleaning duties including :o Dusting and sweeping
o Vacuuming and mopping
o General tidiness
Report facility maintenance needsDocumentation & Reporting
Document unusual activities and incidentsReport vandalism and maintenance issuesRecord medical concerns and injuriesMaintain clear communication with supervisorsComplete necessary paperwork and reportsQualifications
Required Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentExperience in rehabilitation facility preferredSecurity experience beneficialStrong attention to detailSkills & Abilities
Excellent observation skillsStrong communication abilitiesGood judgment and decision-makingBasic computer proficiencyPhysical stamina for roundsPhysical Requirements
