Job Description

As a Security Officer - School Patrol Full-Time in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the campus. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors while maintaining a visible presence to help promote a secure environment.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support access control procedures and monitor entry points as directed by site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
