  • This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team of educators dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • The school follows the Jewish calendar and is closed during the summer, providing a structured and balanced schedule.

What You’ll Do :

  • Plan, develop, and execute engaging math lessons that align with the curriculum and state educational standards.
  • Adapt the mathematics curriculum to support individual, small-group, and remedial instruction tailored to diverse student needs.
  • Evaluate student progress, providing feedback and assessments to help students meet mathematical knowledge and skill benchmarks.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of student behavior to create a focused and positive learning environment.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, including student-centered learning, exploration, and direct instruction.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to create an enriching and dynamic classroom experience.

    • What You Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related STEM field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Math teacher.
  • Strong knowledge of math curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students through innovative instruction.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and technology integration in teaching.

    • Priority will be given to candidates who :

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and are enrolled in a Master’s program .
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in STEM with a NYS teaching certificate .
  • Hold a Master’s degree in STEM .
