Overview
Temporary HR Staffing Specialist, full-time, non-exempt position. Reports to the Manager, Human Resources. Responsible for managing and facilitating all recruiting efforts for the designated location from start to finish, including understanding departmental needs, sourcing candidates, and acting as a liaison between the candidate and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Work with local management to identify staffing needs
- Create and manage internal and external job posting processes
- Sourcing and screening candidates using internal and external databases
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with appropriate supervisors
- Conduct interviews and phone screenings
- Attend job fairs and other recruitment events
- Coordinate drug testing for new hires using outside testing facility
- Coordinate onboarding / orientation of new hires
- Maintain PREA and ACA Standards / requirements
- Coordinate with IT to ensure proper onboarding processes are followed
- Create and maintain personnel packets / files for new hires and current employees in accordance with company and contracting agencies; ensure compliance with annual requirements such as I-9, background checks and credentials
- Participate in mandatory training and staff development sessions
- Process pre-employment clearance requests and related employment correspondence
- Assist with the coordination of employee engagement / morale activities
- Post internal vacancies
- Maintain clearance through contracting agencies
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Two years of recruitment experience requiredKnowledge
Local, State and Federal laws affecting the employment processPrinciples of management and organizational structure; interviewing techniques; computers and HR information systemsAbilities

One to two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with three years of experience in the Human Resources field.
