Job Details :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position near Mill City, OR. This role involves both scheduled clinical hours and on-call responsibilities, providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care : Manage an average of 13 patients per shift in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Clinical Duties : Provide specialized care in pediatric gastroenterology, including clinic hours and in-person call responsibilities.
  • On-call Duties : Night call during weekdays and 24-hour call coverage on weekends.
  • Support Staff : Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Utilize EMR System : Document and manage patient information using the Epic EMR system.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Must be board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
  • Licensure : Must hold an active medical license in Oregon (OR), Washington (WA), or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
  • Experience : Prior experience in pediatric gastroenterology preferred.
  • Credentialing : The estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.

  • Practice Setting : Both inpatient and outpatient care environments.
  • Reason for Need : Coverage due to a medical leave vacancy, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
  • Call Schedule : Coverage needed for the following periods : 9 / 9 (8 AM) to 9 / 15 (8 AM) and 9 / 30 (8 AM) to 10 / 14 (8 AM). Clinic hours are 8 : 30 AM to 5 PM with night call during the week and 24-hour call on weekends.
