Description : About the Role

As Goettl’s Web Developer, you’ll be the technical driver behind our web ecosystem. You’ll manage and optimize our WordPress sites, integrate critical marketing tools, and ensure fast, secure, and conversion-focused digital platforms. From troubleshooting and performance tuning to UX / UI enhancements and A / B testing, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless user experiences that generate leads and strengthen our brand.

You’ll collaborate with our marketing leadership, creative teams, and outside vendors—bringing expert-level technical knowledge to keep Goettl ahead of the competition.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain Goettl’s WordPress sites, including custom themes, plugins, updates, and troubleshooting
  • Integrate platforms like CallRail, ServiceTitan, HubSpot, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
  • Oversee hosting, DNS, SSL, CDN, backups, and performance tuning
  • Monitor and improve site security with updates, threat detection, and hardening
  • Optimize site performance and page speed through caching, image compression, and responsive design
  • Drive UX / UI improvements, A / B testing, and CRO strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and manage external vendors to deliver results
  • What You Bring

  • 5+ years of WordPress development and management experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to integrate and configure marketing and analytics tools
  • Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and analytics tracking
  • Experience with UX / UI optimization, A / B testing, and conversion rate improvement
  • Ability to manage vendors, projects, and deadlines independently
  • Collaborative communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Preferred but not required : Experience in home services or multi-location businesses, PHP / JavaScript / HTML / CSS skills, API integration knowledge, and marketing funnel optimization.
