  • Support Staff Available : APPs on inpatient side for hematology / oncology.
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage, potential locums-to-perm.

    REQUIRED PROCEDURES :

  • Hematology inpatient services (benign and malignant).
  • No infusion center coverage.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Licenses : Active Minnesota license required (IMLC acceptable).
  • Board : Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology (PA or APP).
  • DEA : Not required.
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS.
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty with heme patient care.
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR, hematology-focused experience.
  • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide inpatient hematology / oncology coverage with focus on hematology patients.
  • Evaluate and manage benign and malignant hematology cases.
  • Round on patients and coordinate care with supervising physicians and APPs.
  • Collaborate with oncology colleagues and support hospital initiatives.
  • Document all patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in Epic EMR.
