Pediatrician

Pediatrics On Demand is an Urgent Care  and Primary Care located in Oak Lawn, IL.

We also have a sister company Minis Walk In Clinic.  We serve patients from birth to 21 years of age.  We are interested in hiring a local, licensed board certified Pediatrician who has experience working with children of all ages and various medical conditions in an ER, Urgent Care, and Primary Care setting.

Our clinic is expanding, and as such, we are in need of a flexible, knowledgeable and compassionate physician who is seasoned in the care and well-being of children in our community.

The successful candidate will accept patient referrals, provide urgent care and primary medical care, consult with specialists, respond to pediatric emergencies.

Part Time :

• 2 11-12 hour shifts Full Time :   3 11-12 hour shifts Hourly : 100- 120
• Locum PRN moonlighting opportunities are available

• Responsibilities : Diagnosing and treating illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Collecting, recording, and maintaining patients' information and histories.
• Prescribing and administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and progress.
• Directing, coordinating, consulting with, and referring patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Advising patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Conducting research and remaining up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field.
