Restoration Technician And / Or General Labor Positions

SERVPRO of East Lansing / Haslett has immediate openings for Restoration Technician and / or General Labor positions at our Lansing office. Our current areas of service are Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Haslett, Williamston and Webberville.

Job duties include water damage restoration, including but not limited to, emergency service response, water removal and drying of structures, drying equipment setup, associated (light) demolition, post-fire cleaning (contents and structure), mold remediation when required, some repair / reconstruction work.

Normal business hours are 8 a.m. 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, must be able to work after hours and weekends when necessary.

Requirements : (Willing to train the right individual)

• Dependable, hard working, good communication skills, honest, and detail oriented
• Ability to learn new skills, problem solve, and apply training knowledge
• Willing to work after normal business hours as needed (time-and-a-half / bonuses)
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
• Must have a clean driving record, pass drug test, and criminal background check
• Restoration / construction general knowledge or carpentry experience preferred (not required)
• IICRC Certification preferred (not required)
