About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : CT Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Tuesday / Friday 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM, Every other Saturday / Sunday 9 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 PM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required.

License : Licensed by the State Clienttion Control Board.

Certifications : ARRT Registered - RT (R) or RT (N).

Must-Have : ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred. If no CT License at the time of hire, the Technologist has one year to obtain it. CPR certified.

Description :

Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation.

Performs all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age.

Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.

Able to insert and remove IVs.

Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred.
