Aircraft Cargo Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Aircraft Cargo Specialist to support the safe and efficient handling of cargo for air transport operations. This role is responsible for building aircraft pallets, preparing shipping documentation, and operating material handling equipment to load and offload aircraft. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of air cargo operations, safety procedures, and documentation requirements, including hazardous materials declarations and chain-of-custody controls.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Build and configure aircraft pallets for transport, ensuring materials are properly secured, balanced, and compliant with loading specifications.
• Complete and maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation, including shipping manifests and hazardous material declarations.
• Load and offload cargo from aircraft using forklifts, k-loaders, and other appropriate material handling equipment.
• Transport materials between warehouse storage locations and flight line or staging areas.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and transportation regulations and procedures.
• Inspect cargo and materials for proper labeling, packaging, and load distribution.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, flight crews, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate cargo movement.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of cargo handling equipment and work areas.
