About The Position

• Strong orthopedic experience required
• No first-time travelers

Description :

The role involves working in the operating room with a focus on orthopedic and sports medicine surgeries.

The facility has six operating rooms dedicated to performing a high volume of orthopedic surgeries, including total joint replacements and sports medicine procedures.

Nurses and technicians are responsible for pulling their own cases, setting up their own rooms, and turnover of rooms.

There is minimal vendor assistance during cases, necessitating familiarity with instruments, setup, and workflow.

Common procedures include ACL repairs, shoulder scopes, rotator cuff repairs, and meniscal repairs.

An average of 25 cases is performed daily.

Staff may also assist with the sterilization of instruments or assembling instrument sets as needed.

This position operates Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.
