Minnesota Specialty Health Systems (MSHS) has a rewarding opportunity for a Mental Health Professional to provide clinical services for individuals with serious mental illness and possible co-occurring disorders. As an Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) facility, MSHS Brainerd focuses on rehabilitative education, building interpersonal skills, and developing community engagement skills, as well as increasing independence and self-management of their illness, behavior, and emotion.
Job duties include :
Complete diagnostic assessment on clients including face to face interviews, mental status examination, and cognitive function
Collaborate with the Treatment Director / Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor in treatment planning
Provide technical assistance and clinical consultation to staff to enhance the program’s clinical capacity.
Provide clinical input on program design, admissions, discharges, utilization management, clinical policies, and procedures.
This position will be involved in reviewing referrals and providing on-call services
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must meet the requirements for a Mental Health Professional as defined in Sec. 245I.04 MN Statutes, subdivision 2 and must meet the following criteria :
