Director of Social Services, LSW

A Long Term Care company with multiple facilities in the State of Maryland is currently recruiting a Director of Social Services, LSW required, for a facility in the Silver Spring, MD area.

PURPOSE / BELIEF STATEMENT :

The position of Director of Social Services provides planning, assessing, coordinating, and implementation of services to enhance each resident’s social and psychosocial wellbeing. The Director of Social Services must develop and maintain a good working rapport with other direct care givers to assure their participation and support of all programs / services to benefit the residents’ psychosocial wellbeing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 4 year college degree in social work or related field.
• State-licensed LSW required.
• 5 or more years of management experience required.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
