About VFP

We are currently hiring for a Framer who will be responsible for assisting in the construction of walls according to VFP guidelines in an efficient and timely manner.

Essential Duties

  • Assist in construction of wall sections according to blue prints
  • Use of hand tools (nail guns, routers, and drills), saws, and ladders
  • Lift / carry plywood sheets as needed
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices
  • Prepare daily production sheets using accurate job numbers and production codes
  • Perform other jobs as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) desired
  • Two (2) years of carpentry experience
  • Ability to read and interpret simple correspondence and practical problems
  • Basic knowledge of mathematical formulas
