Job Description

As a Security Guard - Telecom Site Patrol Driver in The Dalles, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate vehicles as you conduct routine patrols throughout the property. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter incidents and identify potential concerns.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner, offering assistance and information as needed.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns and report findings according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the tech and data center setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
