This role is pivotal in fostering an enriching learning environment for young children while engaging families in their educational journey. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in implementing our mission to promote holistic child development.
- Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a high-quality early childhood curriculum.
- Foster a positive school culture that encourages family involvement.
- Work closely with the teacher assistant to ensure an effective teaching team.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies for early intervention when needed. Strong understanding of child development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of safety and care.
- Collaborate with families to support their children's education and well-being.
- Requirements
- Requires an associate, baccalaureate, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field
- Requires valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse families.
- Details
- Full-time 9-month position from mid-August to mid-May. If desired, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc.
- Children attend 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). Teaching staff have a built-in prep / training day each week (Wednesday).
- Collaborate with fellow classroom staff as part of a teaching team to support children and implement policies.

- Pay is directly related to the applicant's level of education :
- Associate : $26.84 / hour ($41,227 / annually)
- Bachelor : $31.52 / hour ($48,415 annually)
- Master : $31.83 / hour ($48,891 annually)
