Contract Duration : 7.5 months

Start : September 16, 2025

End : April 30, 2026

Shift / Hours : Start on 1st shift (6 : 30 a.m. – 3 : 00 p.m.) for 2–3 weeks, then move to 2nd shift (3 : 00 p.m. – 11 : 30 p.m.), Monday–Friday

Job Summary :

Join a leading manufacturer as a Material Handler in the shipping department, where you’ll help ensure timely, accurate, and safe processing of outgoing customer orders. You'll work with pallet jacks, handheld computers, and a supportive team to move products from staging to shipment.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate a walkie rider pallet jack to fulfill orders and move products

Safely load and unload pallets on and off trucks

Use handheld technology to track order progress

Transition products to the staging area and onto outbound trucks

Collaborate as a flexible and adaptable team member

Maintain compliance with company procedures and safety protocols

Assist in other areas based on daily business needs

Overtime as required

Required Experience :

Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience

Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds

Capable of standing or walking for extended periods

Able to read and record order information in English

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Shipping or logistics industry background

Prior experience with walkie rider pallet jacks

Working with order tracking systems or WMS

Required Skills :
